The whole of Derbyshire, including the Dales, will remain in the highest Covid Tier level (3) the Government announced on 16 December.
Tiers will be reviewed every 14 days.
It's a regional approach and Government is asking us all to work together to get the virus under control.

Tier 3 restrictions in Derbyshire

The Causeway will be closed for resurfacing work to be carried out on the 16th to 18th of November 2020.
Access to properties for residents will be maintained whilst the work is carried out.

Ground Inspection works will be carried out on the narrow section of the road over the stream, at the lowest point in the road as it enters the village.
This will prevent any kind of access whilst being undertaken, Derbyshire County Council will erect signage on both approaches over that duration but the current plans are for the day with no access (for all user groups) to be the 7th of October. The... Read More »

Western Power Distribution have notified us of road closures to allow work to reinforce the high voltage network due to increased demand. The work will involve laying a new high voltage cable from the rear entrance to Stanley Moor Farm, Great Hucklow into the new package sub-station in Grindlow.
