Neighbourhood Plan and PDNPA Draft Assessment of the Parishes of Great Hucklow, Little Hucklow, Hazelbadge, Grindlow and Foolow.

The National Park Authority is developing a Management Plan for the Park (It should have done this a long time ago) and as part of this work it is developing informal assessments of each of the villages based on available information and input from the villages. For us, we have been linked with Foolow and Hazelbadge, as this is how the statistical information is presented to maintain individuals' privacy. This makes it rather more complicated as five different villages with both similarities and differences are involved. There are however significant similarities to the data collection requirements of the Neighbourhood Plan and I have used the outputs from the open meeting in May to develop our contribution. I hope that I have captured the feelings of the villages and included everything that the villagers feel is important. This is a less formal document than the Neighbourhood Plan and so can be used to express general aspirations, rather than the need to formulate formal planning policies.

The latest copy is available via the link below.

Please read it and comment to me at mdb.hucklowpc@gmail.com by Monday 16th September so that I can incorporate your comments to present the final version to the Parish Council on Monday 23rd September and send it to the National Park Authority by the end of the month.
