GARDEN WASTE COLLECTIONS - DERBYSHIRE DALES DISTRICT COUNCIL

Food waste collections in the Derbyshire Dales return to a weekly frequency from this coming Monday, 27 July 2020.

Residents can check on their collection date using the online postcode calendar at www.derbyshiredales.gov.uk/whenismycollection

The usual annual delivery of caddy liners for 2020 has been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak and will now take place in September.

EMERGENCY ROAD CLOSURE - B6001 BETWEEN GRINDLEFORD AND HATHERSAGE

Derbyshire County Council have notified us of an emergency road closure on the B6001 between Grindleford and Hathersage to repair a collapsed retaining wall.

DERBYSHIRE DALES DISTRICT COUNCIL - GARDEN WASTE COLLECTIONS

Garden waste collections will recommence from 1st June 2020.

DDDC new Emergency Committee met for the first time on 21 May, agreeing to put in place measures that will enable garden waste collections to re-start in the district from 1 June.

DERBYSHIRE DALES DISTRICT COUNCIL - SUPPORT FOR CLINICALLY VULNERABLE PEOPLE CAMPAIGN

DDDC have advised that many of our most vulnerable residents may be missing out on essential support because they haven't responded to a recent NHS letter, delivered to them as they are classed as being clinically extremely vulnerable to coronavirus.

REFUSE COLLECTIONS UPDATE - 23rd APRIL 2020

Good news: All scheduled refuse/food and recycling rounds are again operating to schedule, plus trade and clinical collections.

Garden waste collections remain suspended until further notice.
