There is no collection on Bank Holiday Monday 29th May, so all collections are one day later than usual next week, including a Saturday collection on 3 June (for usual Friday rounds).

Bank Holiday Monday May 1st 2023 - Waste Collecitons

There will be no change to Derbyshire Dales waste collections on the week commencing Bank Holiday Monday 1st May.

The decision to not move collections during this week has been made so that residents are not disrupted when celebrating the King's coronation on Saturday 6th May and can enjoy street parties etc. without needing to leave access for refuse vehicles.

Christmas and New Year Waste and Recycling Collections 2022/23

Derbyshire Dales bin collections during weeks commencing 26 December and 2 January will be one day later than usual, with Friday collections taking place on Saturday.

Although Tuesday 27 December is a Bank Holiday, collections usually scheduled for Monday will take place that day.

Garden Waste collections are suspended from Monday 19 December to Saturday 31 December inclusive.

Bank Holiday Monday 19th September 2022

DERBYSHIRE DALES DISTRICT COUNCIL SERVICE PLANS

We have just published our service plans for the funeral day of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II – Monday, 19 September – which is now a bank holiday.

The Town Hall will be closed and only essential services will take place; no bin collections on Monday, but catch-ups will take place during the remainder of the week.
